Romania as Travel Destination

As I previously posted, tourism in Romania is expected to grow on a fast rate in the next years.

I recently found the top 10 of fastest growing countries as travel destinations, published by the Word Travel and Tourism Council:
1. Macau
2. Angola 

3. Montenegro 

4. Seychelles 

5. Libya 

6. China 

7. Azerbaijan 

8. Romania 

9. United Arab Emirates 

10. Chile

As you can see, Romania is on the eights place . The same WTTC predicts that Romania will be the fourth fastest growing destination in the next years, with a rate of 7.9 % per year.

While this year's "winner", Macau, attracted a lot of visitors due to it's gambling industry, in Romania tourism seems to start being based and a durable development. This growth is due to the construction of a new highway crossing the country from North-West to South East, to the people rediscovering The Black Sea coast or the Danube Delta
